NovelMaker processes only minimal, non-personal, and anonymized technical data required for the app to function properly and improve user experience. This may include basic performance information such as crash reports and general usage metrics. We do not collect, store, or link any personal information to specific users. We do not track user behavior across apps or websites, and no third-party advertisers or tracking frameworks are used within the app. In summary, NovelMaker does not collect personal data of any kind and is built with children’s safety and privacy at its core.  NovelMaker is designed to respect your privacy and minimize data collection. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, email addresses, passwords, payment details, or other account information.

When you use the App, we may process limited, non-personal technical data necessary to operate and improve functionality. This may include anonymized information such as general device type, operating system version, basic usage statistics (e.g., app opens, time spent, or feature engagement), and diagnostic data like crash reports. These details are used solely to maintain app performance, enhance security, and improve the user experience.

We do not track users, build behavioral profiles, or use third-party advertising or analytics tools that collect personal data. Any data processed by integrated services (such as AI or image-generation providers) is handled in an anonymized and transient manner that does not identify individual users.

 NovelMaker uses limited, anonymized technical data solely to ensure the app functions effectively, remains secure, and continues to improve over time. Any data processed is used in aggregated form and cannot identify individual users.

 Information related to app activity, such as usage frequency, feature interactions, or error reports, may be analyzed to maintain system stability, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.

 When AI-generated content features are used, inputs (such as text prompts or selections) may be temporarily processed by integrated AI services to generate responses. This data is handled securely, is not stored or linked to any personal identity, and is used only for the purpose of providing the requested AI output.

 We do not use collected information for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes, nor do we share it with third parties for commercial use. All processing is conducted in compliance with privacy laws and strictly to support app functionality and improvement.

We may share your information with trusted third-party providers who help us deliver App services, including AI content generation, cloud storage, analytics, and payment processing. If NovelMaker undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We may also use or share aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be linked back to individual users, for purposes such as research, analytics, or marketing. Importantly, we do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

 Any stories, prompts, images, or other content you submit may be processed by AI models or shared with third-party service providers to deliver the App’s functionality. By submitting content, you grant NovelMaker a license to use, modify, and display your content as outlined in the Terms.

 NovelMaker values your privacy and minimizes data collection wherever possible. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) from users on our servers.

 We may process limited, non-personal information, such as anonymized usage statistics, device type, or app performance metrics, solely to improve functionality and user experience. This information cannot be used to identify you personally.

Because no personal data is stored, there is no ongoing data retention beyond what is technically necessary for the app to operate or comply with applicable law (e.g., temporary logs for security or debugging).

10. Children’s Privacy and Collection of Data

 NovelMaker is designed to be safe and appropriate for users aged 4 and older. Protecting children’s data and privacy is one of our top priorities.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or share any personal data from children or any users. The app does not request or require personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, audio, location data, or identifiers.

When you or your child use NovelMaker, some non-personal and anonymous data may be processed automatically to ensure the app functions properly and improves over time. This may include:

  • Anonymized usage statistics (e.g., frequency of use, feature         engagement)
  • Device type and operating system information

All such information is processed in a de-identified and aggregated form and cannot be used to identify any individual user.
